July Announcement of the Month: What’s New with NetApp

NetApp has recently released exciting new updates to their products. The three updates that have the team at CTI excited are updates to ONTAP, NetApp Ransomware Guarantee, and All SAN Array (ASA) Enhancements. Our team is looking forward to taking advantage of these updates. If you would like more information, our team would be happy to set up a call to answer any questions.

ONTAP:

The recent ONTAP updates are with the goal of helping their customers increase the security, flexibility, simplicity, performance, and efficiency of their storage environment, across on-premises and public cloud resources, while also reducing TCO. This latest release, ONTAP 9.13.1, is one of the industry’s most comprehensive data management suite. ONTAP One simplifies your on-premises environment by including all available NetApp ONTAP software for AFF, ASA, and FAS systems.

NetApp Ransomware Guarantee:

Ransomware attacks are on the rise, and it takes more than cybersecurity insurance to cover the costs and data loss related to an attack. NetApp will warrant snapshot data recovery in the event of a ransomware attack. If a customer cannot recover their data with NetApp or partner assistance, NetApp will offer compensation. This offering includes technology deployment and requires PS engagement and must be deployed utilizing NetApp anti-ransomware best practices.
