At CTI, we’re more than just your average information technology company. We’re your trusted IT resource, a team of lifelong learners, and long-standing partners with some of the biggest and most reputable technology companies—like Microsoft—so we can better serve you.
You may have noticed our official Microsoft Partner seal of approval on our website, but did you know that there’s a thorough process that must be completed to be awarded those titles? Let’s dive in to our Microsoft capabilities, what they mean, and how they can support your company’s needs.
Understanding Our Microsoft Competencies
CTI is proud to be a Microsoft Gold Partner for Application Integration and Datacenter Solutions, as well as a Silver Certified Partner for Cloud Platform and Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions. But what exactly do these titles mean?
First and foremost, Microsoft offers its partners the opportunity to showcase their professional expertise within several competency areas. According to Microsoft, these areas are divided up to help you easily pinpoint where a company has the highest level of experience—including Applications and Infrastructure, Business Applications, Data and AI, and Modern Workplace and Security. Companies can either earn a gold or silver status within each area, but both are significant indicators that you can depend on the company’s employees to deliver A+ services and advanced assistance. At CTI, we hold both gold and silver competencies in the following areas:
- Focus Area #1: Applications and Infrastructure – Gold Application Integration, Silver Cloud Platform, and Gold Datacenter competencies fall under this category
- Focus Area #2: Modern Workplace and Security – The Silver Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competency falls under this category
Earning Gold & Silver Statuses
So, now you know where we stand when it comes to Microsoft’s competencies—but how did we get there? Essentially, our team had to prove our proficiency levels by completing specific coursework, passing examinations, and providing detailed evidence that we’ve helped customers within the past year with Microsoft solutions like Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, Office 365, and more.
What Our Competencies Mean for Your Business
As technology continues to grow, our company has the opportunity to earn more Microsoft competencies—with the requirements for our team members being unique across the different focus areas. Since our goal is to deliver top-tier IT consulting and services to our customers, you can count on us to always strive to be at the forefront of Microsoft’s solution providers.
