Our speaker, Craig Jackson, is an Incident Responder and Cybersecurity Consultant for CTI. In this role, Craig assists customers with investigating, handling, and recovering from information security breaches.

The main educational points from this presentation will be:

  • Three (3) methods attackers use to maintain persistence after breaching a public-facing email account
  • Two (2) case studies of Microsoft 365 breach investigations with unusual findings
  • Tools and methods for analyzing Microsoft 365 and OWA logging and events
  • Recommendations to fortify defenses during post-breach remediation using best-in-class tools offered by Cisco such as DUO, Umbrella, AMP, and Firepower

Craig Jackson, CISSP, OSCP, GPYC, GAWN, CEH – Cybersecurity Professional Services Consultant

Mr. Jackson is a consultant with CTI, where he leads information security engagements for customers across the mid-Atlantic region. For the past five years he has specialized in breach response, security & design, regulatory compliance and corporate security training. Craig holds a degree in Information Assurance as well as several industry standard certifications.
